I used to draw somewhat decent until the more i drew, tbe worse I became till I gave up. Though hopefully it will come back one day as quickly as it left

How does more drawing make you worse? That seems odd to me. Have you drawn lately or have you given up completely? Maybe you could take a class or something?

I really dont know. Its like I kept getting worse over several weeks about four years ago. I did give up but feeling the urge to make art again recently. I dont know how well it will go but I will share details with you if you like. Also I am the odd type who does not learn things very well unless I teach myself.

I totally get not learning well in class (I'm definitely not liking my current art teacher's style). I've learned more from books and doing things myself, largely from copying others. In fact, I think knowing the base rules (maybe learned from a teacher) helps more than someone over your shoulder telling you how much you're messing up. Anyway, I think you should try to go on your own, find some artist or pictures to mimic and see how far you can go.

Yes, I have always been one to explore others' techniques. It is helpful. One of the few things my art teacher back in highschool mentioned was this: You can confuse the brain into drawing better if you try to copy a picture upside down. She had everyone draw a badass spiderman picture in one class pieriod. They all turned out really good despite the students' skill level. I thought you might find that interesting.
