Hi, my name is Josh. Feel free to speak to me. I am a really laid back guy. I like to think of myself as reasonable.Doesn't matter how weird you are, I view myself as being weird so I don't judge people. I like making new friends and talking to people and some of my interests include: history, videogames, movies, geography, ect etc.
I dont consider myself as being much of an anime fan however I absolutely live the artstyle and do occasionally enjoy anime.
I am a pretty big fan of Star Wars, Battletech/Mechwarrior and some other sci-fi things.
I highly enjoy Historical-reenactment. It is one of my main hobbies; I mostly take part in reenactments of the Second World War as a late-war German Panzergrenadier.
I dont upload very much as of recent as a result of me being very busy so please forgive me.
However I am on Deviantart at least once a day usually before or mostly after I get off work. So please, don't think I dont exist. Feel free to message me!

After being on here for such a long time, you and I both, it is kind of interesting to be able to so easily look back on who we used to be and who we are now.

What part of the country do you do your events?

Well, so far it has only been in New Mexico, but I am hoping to get to a few other events in Texas.

Oh right on, right on. I'm over here on the south east. However my units reach is being slightly extended to the northeast like Ohio, Pennsylvania etc. We're usually hanging around North Carolina, Virginia and South Carolina. We're doing about 1 or 2 events a month. I'm probably gonna be missing a lot of them now though since my new job has me working weekends.

Nah. Living history. I haven't done a tactical since March.
My unit was invited to one earlier this last October. But it didn't work out with our schedules.Β
My unit used to be really big on hosting tacticals. But other units from South Carolina came along and started hosting tacticals in the same general areas at the same time to draw people from our events. So we have sort of strayed away from doing that. Things have also fallen apart since then too. We had a mass exodus of members (including our CO. Who left because no one wanted him around).

Reenacting is a lot of fun. I really enjoy it. I love answering peoples questions about various things WWII related.
It helps people learn some new things.
And German uniforms are very nice looking lol
