# About me
I am a self-taught visionary realist painter. Sometimes I paint large scale murals, and also paint in acrylic on canvas. I have been painting with serious intent since my discharge from the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. Art helped me make the transition to civilian life. And art has been there for me through many hard times in my life. I am grateful to the creative power which gives my life meaning and purpose. I truly believe it is the key to my very survival. My art is a salute to nature and creation rather than an attempt to duplicate it. I often feel that my artistic vision comes from a power greater than myself. I am not religious, but I believe in a Higher Power. Some people see a hint of spirituality in my art. I don't do this on purpose, but I am pleased when this happens and people tell me about it.# Comments
