For decades. Our local PBS station ran it for years and a local commercial station ran some of the John Pertwee episodes in 1971. Cool stuff. Got to meet Tom Baker briefly at a convention in the mid-80's.

Well i got into it during the David Tennant years... so yeah, he's been my original doctor, i havent really gotten used to Matt Smith yet...I liked David's erratically enthusiastic nature. Matt just seems a bit...depressed and dull after David.

Unfortunately, we currently don't get BBC America so we're a little behind on our "Dr. Who". I really liked David Tennant. Haven't seen the Matt Smith episodes yet. As far as companions go, I liked all three, especially Donna. I may be in the minority but I have a fondness for redheads so I tend to be a bit partial to Donna. Cool stuff about your mom. Too bad she got zapped. LOL

haha ohkaai. well you're not really missing on much...the daleks have turned apple style (bright colours) and there are some new characters. Amy is the new companion and she is a red-head also!
I really loved Donna...Rose was awesome but i disliked Martha strongly. She irritated a lot of people with her constant whining about how much she wanted the doctor to love her. -.-
Yeah, I agree with you on loving Donna, shes really gutsy!

That's true, the new companion is another sexy redhead. I like Rose (Billie Piper is just too cute) and Martha was a bit of a pain. A tad desperate if you ask me. I liked Donna since she was a bit older than the other companions and had a certain maturity about her. Throw in the red hair, gorgeous curves and great smile, and I'm sold.

yeaah i know! also i liked it cause donna didnt have anything for the doctor, so she definitely had more maturity.
mmm in terms of looks i think Amy Pond is more attractive than Donna, buuttt....Donna's personality was amazing.
I loved her intro 'GET ME BACK TO MY WEDDING'

Amy is a cutie but remember, she's much younger than Donna. I'm sure when the actress gets to be Catherine Stewarts age, she'll look a bit different than she does now. Amy is barely into her 20's. Donna was fun. I just have a thing for curvy redheads.

Idk. im still getting used to the new series...I liked it when they brought back all the old villains :3 That was good. the sontarens...the daleks...the vespiform... etc... and they all locked the doctor in that time cube :3

I think her outfit is mostly eye candy. It gets the guys to tune in. I'm sure they'll bring back even more of the old villains. Helps keep the fans happy.

i didnt see much attraction in rose...although she also was quite curvy...her accent did put me off...my dad hates cockney accents...and they're not the best accent out there..
apparently they made david say 'judoon platoon on the moon' just so the scottish accent could come out

Rose was cute, too. Here in the US, a British accent, no matter what kind, scores extra points in the attractiveness score. Donna was definitely sexy. Nothing like a tall, busty redhead. Believe me, all she would have to do is smile and I'm hers. Aussie girls are cool, too. I've met a few and they were really great. Lots of fun and really sweet.
