# About me

I'm Abi and I'm from Hertfordshire in the UK. Art is mostly my hobby or if you can class it as a second career option it could be, once life slows down a bit I will get back into commissions which I used to do. In my day (and night) job in London I look after sick animals (mostly the scaly, feathered and small furry kind). When I do actually get a few minutes to myself I love to be creative and not only do art but also write fanfiction. I have an account over on Ao3 under the same penname so check it out (its mostly Sherlock fiction)

I achieved an A in A level art at school and my favourite medias are pencils and acrylics. I do prefer the traditional art over digital, but I do admire the amazing works people can come up with digitally these days, art is really moving with times. Personally i feel you cannot beat just sitting down with a blank sheet of paper/canvas and a pencil or brush and doing some free hand art.

Most of my art inspiration comes from everything I love, so most of my art includes animals and any show/film/book I am a fan of including BBC Sherlock, LOTR and Merlin. I also occasionally try to do fan art to my fictions but I'm in need of some practice.
