Of course I do~ *cough* Not like I'm proud to admit that or anything. *cough* But yeah, I have hard time concentrating sometimes which leads to procrastination and then to a crap load of work later on. orz It takes some motivation to actually finish the work, but I eventually get in before it's due~

I can't believe I'm saying this but I have trouble with it too. *is a complete goody two shoes who had straight A's in AP classes in public school* Now that I'm homeschooling I have a hard time finding motivation. Yeah I get it, the consequences bla bla, but at the moment I'm working, I find that staring at a wall is more fun than doing English homework.

I know how you feel. ^^ I'm usually motivated because in my country, education is highly valued and everybody studies a lot to go the best schools. (Most people would think of it as "hardcore" studying lol) So I do my work because of this. (´▽｀);; Which is also not good since it's very stressful...

Anyway, I still know how feel. xD;; Maybe you can break down the work? Like if it's for a paper, set dates where you just get information (if this is needed), some other days to write down all the data, another day when you write the rough draft, one day to proof read it, and then make the final copy. Setting "personal" due dates before the assigned paper is actually due can help you spread out the work and finish before it's due so you can have time for yourself~ Although it sounds like a lot of work, just think them as little jobs to do and it's not as bad than writing a 10 page paper the night before it's due. lol

And maybe... Instead of the thinking of the consequences if you don't do your work, think of the rewards if you do; you have more free time to do what you like, you can get a better grade than doing the night before, you'll less stress, and etc. ^^ If you think like this you might get a new perspective on your work~

I did spread out due dates in public school, but I haven't had the need to yet in homeschooling. I do know there's an English paper coming up though, so I should probably start thinking about it now...

Wow, thinking of the rewards really is motivating! In fact I would like to work on my story-in-progress tonight, I may still have time if I get my homework done... Thanks a lot Yong Soo!
