On a related note, ASE is gone and now I do know that you probably don't care by this point and time but trust me, he is gone from YT. There is an ASE account on deviantART, but it is not the same dude and he isn't hurtful in the comments so I think it is safe to say that "Vincent" is no longer an issue. It's me absinthe by the way.

Ah... the days of battling ASE, I remember them fondly as in that case, it wasn't just a bunch of pissed off Sonic fans ganging up on a troll but rather it was the fanbase teaming up to end a cyberbully that just called his efforts "trolling", I still cringe at the comments that I have posted, but I can tell you that ever since I've grown and matured, I'm still happy I joined.

I'm good. I thought I'd let ya know that I'm no longer worried about ASE. The truth is I kinda started to troll people myself at one point after u left yt. I wasn't trying to be harmful like him though, it was more or so to joke around.

As long as you aren't disturbing the peace, or upsetting anyone, I can't really see anything wrong with that.
I've also moved on. I realized just before I left that my actions could not possibly warrant the permanent absence of he who shall not be named, so packed my bags and split. My poor heart couldn't withstand such negativity and stupidity.

I was merely looking for reactions while pretending to be someone I wasn't on Xbox or posting yt vids that claimed to be something for a new game. I hope that's not considered harmful but I kinda felt hurt from doing it so I put it down as well. Maybe we all should just stick to doing what we can do best: being ourselves.

(cont.) I don't expect you to understand. I have a life. This was ruining my life. It tore me up inside knowing all my efforts were doing jack shit. It's true that one person can change the world, but one must know that those situations don't happen often. I tried everything. Hacking, blackmail, even telling the damn President of the United States via email. I worked my ass off, and received more than 100 supporters, and yet, It still didnt do crap.

Look, I didn't mean what I said. I was just mad at the fact that you were treating me this way. You have to understand that I lost what I believed in. When I first joined, I had all the ambition to get rid of people like ASE. As the months went by, I started to lose faith. Please, you and I are different people. One is stronger than the other. I quit because my efforts were getting me and my friends nowhere. I was becoming a victim. I was becoming deranged. Half the stuff those argue about really mess with your head! I left to find inner peace. I don't expect you or anyone else to forgive me. Just know that if I was just a little more resilient, I'd still be out there.

You have to take trolling seriously, but what anti-trolling is is trying to show them that you'll keep going as long as it takes for them to realize that trolling is pointless and insignificant, and that the trolls themselves are as well and that the only way to stop being seen that way is to stop trolling. You have to see it as a serious concern, but you have to be able to remain calm and resiliant while troll fighting. If one is unable to do so, maybe they SHOULD just leave anti-trolling behind.
