Hey there, happy to help where I can. A lot of it will depend on what edition of the game you want to play. I'll admit I'm not very familiar with anything past 3.5 or pathfinder where D&D is concerned. There are a lot of great free resources out there if you are intimidated by buying a lot of $40+ books such asΒ www.d20srd.org/ (Version 3.5)Β www.d20pfsrd.com/ (Pathfinder) andΒ 5thsrd.org/ (5th edition). There really isn't a great substitute for having a person teach you the basics in the flesh. If you can find someone local or a game shop that you trust I would try there first.
I am planning on making a new post to the D&Deviants group to see if we can get some more people to give you some solid advice if that sounds alright to you.

Well I don't really have a local game shop, or any shops players would be found at......................Being that I live in a suburban town far from the nearby citys, and no transportation, so I am forced to do things via chat instead of in person

Yeah, I'm about 45 minutes away from the nearest active game shop, so I know what you mean. Without a lot of the basicsΒ taught to you beforehand, the SRD pages I linked can be very intimidating and not very easy to follow. Give me a day or two and I'll see what else I can come up with for you .

Hi, you're the creator of the Dice module for Contra, right?
Could I have permission to slightly edit the module (with credit) for personal use?
Thanks UvU

Hahaha!
I had to ask J-Te for permission to act out of turn so I could flee in terror comedically.

Well that's awesome . My current character would be cool, how do you feel about drawing armor and dragon wings?
Here's the most recent description of him from our game: "It's hard to tell how old the boy in front of you is. Although a bit weathered looking, he has a very young face, maybe just into his teens, straight and short gold/brown hair, bright green eyes. Atop his head sits a strange silvery crown. He's also six feet tall and wearing a full suit of gleaming full plate that has a new look to it, though he moves comfortably enough in it. Even stranger are the red dragon-like wings extending to his sides. He is exceedingly well armed as well. Between his wings are a long, curved blade sheathed at an angle and a hunting rifle crossed in the opposite direction. His eyes are constantly wandering over his surroundings, not necessarily in an alert fashion."
If you'd rather draw him sans wings and armor that's fine too.

Well I can do anything with good references. If you'd like, you could send me any images of real people or drawings for facial features, skin/hair color, pose, armor, weapons, wings. I will be doing a portrait down to the shoulders.
If you need to email me anything, my email is andarielle.fleur.de.lys@gmail.com
I'm also slow if there's a lot of details.
But I have to say, green eyes = win! I love painting people with green eyes.

Hey, sorry it took so long to get back to you. Been sick and out of it for a couple days.
For the shoulders/neck this armor is exactly what I had in mind: [link]
There are 3 pictures of Kyron you can find here: [link]
If you want to add the wings you can, but I'm not really finding any good stock images of draconic styled wings. They might be out of the frame for the picture really.
If you need anything else, just ask.

Take a look: [link]
I made it really quickly and there's a bunch of things I usually fix with color (I don't like greyscale, but it helps me get the value right, more or less), just let me know if there's anything you want changed, and if I should do a 3/4 view instead of the passport picture style..

Ah no problem!
He looks really good! Love the hair! I love painting hair in general, although blonde hair is a bit more difficult, I'll have to find a good palette.
I'll make a quick sketch in the next few days and you can tell me what you think and then I can go from there.

"Interestingly, heroes, particularly transforming characters, have been known to use this "turn into a big scary monster" tactic as well. It's extremely rare for it not to cross into Superpowered Evil Side territory."
