It's a "gift" that you give for who ever manages to be viewer number *your set number*
So there's a pageview counter on the profile page and let's say you set your number at 1000 views. Then who ever screenshots and shows you that they're the 1000th viewer can request an artwork or sorts from you--if you set the number at 1000 views (it can be whatever you'd like).
It's a way an artist can thank the viewers for looking at their artwork.
But some people will require you to be a watcher so that it's not a random person who's just refreshing the page just to get free artwork.
And sometimes no one manages to screenshot it or the "1000th viewer" the person can just be a passerby in which case there won't be a kiriban.

Shes lucky we got her for another reason.....She's not kid friendly. The rescue was innacurate. They said she would be kid friendly but shes not. we had no kids but I noticed when kids wanted to pet her she didn't act the same with adults. especially men. she rather not be around kids. Shes not viscious, she'll tolerate kids but rather not be around kids, any.

Hmm... I have lots of favorites: Norway, Romania, Iceland, Switzerland, Prussia, Hong Kong, Lithuania, Poland, the list goes on and on. But I tend to lean towards minor characters a lot because they deserve more love
