Same here, they seemed to sell out a little earlier then usual this year. I will definitely be getting a table next year, so I will be watching their site like a hawk.

That is exactly how I draw...copycat style? I use a reference and draw it without tracing anything. I've just started trying to change little things to get a feel for that. Eventually I will feel confident enough to take a stab at my own rendition of things!!

Go for it! If you get stuck (it happens to me!) find a good drawing you like a lot and just try to re-draw it without tracing or anything, and adjusting things you can handle (i.e. character pose, facial expression and hair style). That usually helps get the brain working again.
