Believe me I've been there plenty myself. I started seeing a therapist about fifteen years ago when I finally realized that ignoring the problem or pretending it would just go away if I ignored it hard enough wasn't working. Changing the way you do things is terrifying too. What if I put in all the effort to change everything that's wrong and it still doesn't work? That's scary.
