# About me
Man, this site is a heck of a lot better than Facebook. There isn't much to say, really. I sometimes write fiction, daydream, work with oil pastels (when I have access to them), draw OCs and carve wood, stone and the occasional Tagua nut. I am quite fond of video games, particularly Minecraft, PokΓ©mon and Skyrim.
I'm a Taurus, INFP and Hufflepuff.

Hey, Erin! I'm sorry for not being up in contact and stuff, things have been super busy. How've you been? How's school? Make any new collegues? How's the food? Please say you've been eating.... Hope to talk to you soon!

Yes, I have been eating! You remind me of my parents. xD
School's alright; I am learning a lot, but my interests have changed. I'm more interested in creating music than artwork now... Unfortunately, I only realized that two months into school.Β Β I don't really have any close friends at school, just some acquaintances. My real friends are in my residence here are MJC. Especially Alexis, who has my sense of humor. We throw memes and references at each other constantly. There used to be Philippe, who played Skyrim all the time, but he had to move back to Ecuador... Some of the funniest things from last year were from his random adventures in Skyrim. (In one instance, his horse disappeared after a long dragon battle, and after an unsuccessful search, he concluded that it was dead... But as soon as he fast-traveled to Riften, his horse appeared right in front of him. Cue a jubilant "HORSEY!!! YOU'RE ALIVE!!!")Β
My food is... alright, I guess, though I could probably do better with my cuisine. I can cook fine, but it's mostly just pasta and veggies. Hard to cook with the old, finicky stoves here; it takes 15 minutes just to boil water, and almost as long to cool down if you end up burning your food. I play it safe.Β Β
And It's awesome to hear from you! How's everything back home?

That's wonderful! Though I wish you were finding more friends at school... I wish I was there, though, because it sounds so fun! (Can't wait to be freeeeeeeeee!!!)
And I figured you'd find some passion wish music, since you had an interest before
Also, I was reminded of you the other day in WalMart with my mom because there was a poster display covered in Benedryl Cabbagepatch, and that's you so I was glad you're so famos now XP (Seriously, we still think of you when Sherlock arises.)
I hope I sound like your parents, because I care that you're eating. I know what finicky stoves are like, but you get used to cooking with them, and using things like cast iron pans and woks really helps because they take less oil and heat up extremely fast. (Just in case...) Toasters are also a very good trick to avoid long cooking when it comes to grilled cheese and things like that as well. (You can toast three pieces of bread if needed)
Everything here is good, aside from almost failing math (never taking anymore because I'm totally getting into STU), and the hard pressure put on by art class. Everyone is healthy, we didn't have any ba ies in the valley this year, though, so the hope for a new generation falls on Claire's shoulders now. I wonder how she'll get through that one? X)
I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to get back to you very often, but the times when I'm using the school computers is totally devoted to biology work or world issues homework, but then that's what I should be doing right now, so I guess I'll be a bit behind...
Miss you lots, love ya always!!!

Sorry for the late reply! I haven't been checking DA often. I'm back home from school, and I'm actually really glad to be back. Work was starting to catch up on me. (._.') I guess that's the reward for procrastination and Skyrim. School is fun, especially the Media Exploration courses, but homework does tend to pile up. Thank you very much for the cooking tips, though! I'll be sure to remember those.
Sorry to hear about math class... I got rid of that as soon as I could, too. I just worked hard enough to be able to exempt the exam and that was my only motivation. Good luck with getting into STU, though! My sister studied there a few years ago. The cafeteria has way better food than UNB. What are you looking to study?
(And best of luck with art class, too!)

That's awesome! Too bad about the homework though, haha. I saw you yesterday (not peeking in your windows or anything, my bus went by when you were outside...) I'm really glad the tips helped, they sure have for me! XD
And, not math. Ever again.
I'm looking to study human rights, politics, and religious studies, and maybe go on to law. I'm not sure whether I want to be a teacher, politician, or lawyer, but they're all kind of hand-in-hand with my wanting to help people. And I'm not a totally terrible person, so I may not make it that well as a politician. (Whoops, throwing down some shade.) I heard the food is quite good, for a university, but that makes sense because the meal plan is WAY expensive, but totally worth it.
Also, art is better, we've just started doing the faceΒ sketchesΒ (I'm doing the Justin Bieber mug shot, haHAHA). And then we're doing the figures, and I'm not sure whether I should do a model of Malala Yousafsai, or not, because I'm afraid someone will do something to it because they're racist. :C
I'm glad you're doing okay, and that you're back. We should have a gathering for the May birthday bashes at some point this month. (Even though most of the gang has like a ton of homework on The Great Gatsby do in about...Β Two weeks. We can make it work though...)
Can't wait to hear from you!

I think being a teacher or a lawyer would be neat. And the teacher must have been amused by your choice of subject.Β Β If you want to make a figure of Malala, I say go for it! I think it would turn out cool. I know many people in school aren't exactly what you'd call progressive, but don't let that keep you from doing what you want to do.Β
A gathering sounds great! I'm not certain about the date, though. Whatever works for you guys!

Yeah! It'll be really hard work though...Β
I've started my figure, and it's looking... vertical... Mrs. MacKnight thought it would be a great idea, since everyone else is doing Batman and Inuyasha X) (okay, that was an exaggeration, but it's close)Β
I'm actually going to do the hijab challenge (you wear a hijab for thirty days), and see how that turns out. Probably some offensive comments like today (day of silence) but I think I can handle it.
We need to get everyone to have a big party and we drink virgin pina colladas and play free form jazz and stuff. It'l be fun having a friend who's an adult. XD

I've never heard of the Hijab Challenge, but it sounds interesting! I wish you luck with it! And people are picking Inuyasha? That's really surprising. I haven't heard anyone talk about Inuyasha in years.
All of us should definitely have a get-together, when it's convenient for you guys (homework and all). Just let me know when, and free-form jazz will be playing in the distance. I don't know about the virgin pina coladas though. xD

Sorry for the late response! My dad and stepmother have a rigid 2-hour daily computer time limit, as well as a "no computer before 12:00 because you really should be going to church because you have nothing else better to do you lazy ingrate" policy. That's mostly my stepmother's doing, though. She's rather... authoritarian. I sometimes wonder why I spend weekends down there...
Anyway, I'm definitely available for minecraft tonight. Our house is all finished and man, you're going to love it! I hope so, anyway.

Bad news: I can't do Friday. I'm going to my Dad's this weekend and my stepdad is sleeping that day. We really couldn't play video games or do anything without waking him up, and he has night shift...
I'm sorry that it couldn't work out, but if you're still on break next week, I'm open.

I have an idea! Next time there's a snow day (of which, if trends continue, there'll be tons) or one those "Teacher Development Days", feel free to come up! I don't have a school calendar, though, so I don't know when those will be.

Well, I think my stepmother's "Cutting off the internet for the entire summer we don't need it at all" thing was an empty threat. That, or they forgot about it.
Either way, the internet still runs.
