It's a petsite with a friendly forum community. I'd say it's a bit like Neopets, but only because it's a petsite with a forum. The art is way better, there's a really expansive human avatar system, and the people there are very nice and friendly.

Takoyaki is basically octopus dumplings. It's a sort of steamed/fried dough, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with a bit of octopus meat in the middle, and served with flakes of dried fish and a sweet/savory sauce. It's kind of an acquired taste because of the octopus, but I love it!

It's definitely not for everyone. I suppose if you wanted to make something like takoyaki at home, you could substitute the octopus for something else, maybe some sort of fish. Takoyaki is hard to make, though; you need a special pan and steady hands

I just got back from talking to my friend who took over running the university Pokemon club for me. The club couldn't get chartered for the new school year and membership has been sporadic at best, so it's breaking up. She gave me back some of the stuff that belongs to Pokemon club. I got the cards, movies, and some plushies back, so now I have a bunch of cards to sort through YAY
