When I designed your warr dog I had no idea what constituted merle so to make him suitable for conformation I changed him up lighteningfox.deviantart.com/a… he is now a blue merle with tan points

Ugh, I'm so sorry. I've been really busy with school and other things. This is actually the first time I've been on dA for about a week. :\
I will try to get it in as soon as possible.

No problem! (Hopefully) Soon I will be starting my own rabbitry, so thought I might as well look at others as well.

Cool. If you have any questions you can ask me. If you're wanting to do pet rabbits I'll send you to my friend who raises show rabbits/pet rabbits. Both types are much different and are ran differently

Thank you for the llama! I will take good care of it.
Well, I have raised rabbits, but just as pets. But I want to upgrade to either a show or meat rabbitry. It is still in the very beginning stages.
Who is your friend that raises show rabbits?

raises pet/show Flemish Giants. I've bought some from her too just so I could have some nice rabbits for the fairs and I'd like to breed them every so often just to sell their little ones to friends (I'm doing it as a friends exclusive thing).
Since I just got a batch of rescued Flemish in that are supposed to have papers (waiting on the lady to see if I ever get any) and we found out that my "red new zealand buck" was actually a female Fawn Flemish (it was small when I got it so it looked like a boy when we checked it and nobody questioned the breed until the other day- if you take a baby flemish and a baby NZ and put them together they all look like baby bunnies! Not enough of a difference at a young age so we just "went with it"- well now she has super long ears and the face like a Flemish, which my friend noticed and took her out to compare to the two she brought me and compare to the NZ does. - Both of us were really hoping it was a red NZ, but oh well XD what are you going to do?)
I was thinking of starting up my own line of Fawns and Sandies that would be for show. I wouldn't hurt her business any because she doesn't carry those colors. After thinking about it, it's a good idea because there's a guy here who has fawns and sandies that are so inbred they have lots of health defects. The other problem with that guy is he keeps his rabbits in nasty conditions so they're almost always sick. If I could make good lined rabbits, I'd be able to offer people the colors they want in that breed without having to buy a nasty sick inbred rabbit.
Even if I can't get papers on these guys, they were said to come from a lady who bred them for pets and she made sure they weren't inbred. The fawn I have no idea, but she's a good rabbit so I can always try it and find out. If her kits are in good health then I'll just keep going. To start with no papers or only some papered rabbits really sucks, though. It would take a really long time and a lot of work before I had a full pedigree on my babies.
