# About me
Am a beginner artist so I am working on the basics and learning how to see shapes and not what appears to be there. Hard task but I don't give up easily My artwork has got considerably better over time. I am born in England but have moved to Sweden when I was 18 years old. I started to paint and draw many years ago but I have been painting seriously for a matter of one year now.# Comments

Thanks for the Llama and the complement on my eye sketches I worked really hard on the one that looks bad. But then I made the other one the next day and thought this really can't be my work haha! You're dragons are very nice. Keep an eye out for my dragon in the coming weeks.

whatever you are comfortable with, definitely if you do celebrities or some real faces make sure to really pay attention to the light on the face and what the colors actually are instead of what it looks like. remember you can open the reference in photoshop and use the dropper tool to select the colors if you are having a hard time identifying them and use it in your piece.

or like i said you can use your a picture on yourself in different lighting

Hey you're welcome you have a very nice gallery! I just wondered what you would suggest I start with now? Should I take some celebrities and draw them then paint them in colour. Simple basic painting practise with different colours? Using a different type of lighting maybe to what's in the reference or maybe even some kind of casted shadow / colours.

Hey, The tablet I'm using is [link] all in all its a nice and easy tablet to work with once you edit the settings so its less sensitive. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now. I've just got used to using a tablet over pen and paper.
