 Oh, wow. Wow. I'm an absolute fool, please forgive me for not replying. I know excuses at this point are pretty meaningless, but please know that this is the first time I check my actual profile to see if I got new messages in months, even though I frequent the site on a much more consistent basis. Some years ago I was actually thrilled to wait for responses and engage in dialogue with other members of this site. I won't go into useless details, but circumstances together with enough time lead me into taking a much less involved and less active approach to the site, and through extension, to the fellow members.  Forgive me again, for I feel like this short reply may well turn into a not-so-short one. You definitely deserve better.

See, the fellow members and I, in my opinion, we don't sit eye-level, people found on this site aren't equals when you judge them in a certain metric. There are members like yourself, people who create art for the enjoyment of others, at the expanse of their own free time. Those people are the true heroes here on DeviantArt. You are among them, and I like to view people such as myself as the side-kicks. Very few individuals can keep up this selfless endeavor indefinitely. And I do NOT blame them, especially when in most cases that motivation to continue comes in the form of a kind word, some dialogue, positive feedback or even criticism, any kind of sign that another person has acknowledged their selflessness - the fact that they've created something that brings you joy out of nothing but their kindness and willingness (and ABILITY!) to do so. For absolutely free. 

I've seen it many, many times and I am guilty of a great sin on this site. I've seen artists give their heart to the viewers, create amazing works of art, only to be ignored, to be lost in the depths of obscurity, because why? Because for months on end they didn't give up in the hopes that people would appreciate them, show any sign whatsoever that they do. But no, people are consumerist bastards who only TAKE and don't give anything in return. And I am guilty of that. 


 I really, really loved your story man. I watched it unfold for as long as you were writing it, I absolutely LOVED it. To this day I keep refreshing your deviantart profile page in the hopes of seeing part 2 of chapter 7. I mostly checked for your profile and daiyoukai-sama's... But you know what I didn't do? I didn't tell you how much I loved your story or that it's part of my reason why I visit this site as often as I do nowadays. That's where I failed in my, yes I could call it this, duties as a side-kick. To provide you with feedback and hopefully inspire your continued motivation. I have sinned in that regard, for this is not the first time I have failed to break the cycle of being a consumerist bastard, I am simply guilty. 

Perhaps on this site I've been the sole reason some people lost their drive and belief in their ability because I've been so negligent of what I should be doing here as a person who values art... God.

I apologize again and I hope you read this... I am really sincerely sorry you expected something out of me... I truly am. I wish some of this made sense...

I'm not very sure of what exactly I want to say back to you... I guess I'd like to say that I don't wish for you to feel that you owe me anything. 

However it's also true that it's alot of fun to get some feedback for the things that gets uploaded, I'm sure every artist feels that way. It's really fun to get hear what people thought in more detail, but I don't think anyone owes the artist that, it's more like the artist had hopefully fun creating the art even if it can be hard work (though isn't the best thing in life working hard in stuff you love?) and hopefully the people who checked out the art have fun writing a little something about what they think. The comments are basicly about themselves and their reactions and thoughts and well, don't we all like to write things about ourselves?

I enjoy writing stories becouse the fantasy places in them feels very real when I write them out. I also like to write comedy stories, which I will definetly try doing more of! When I write them I can even laugh myself at the stuff I write out, so well, it's good to be so easily entertained.  

I've got a comedy in the oven which will hopefully soon be ready, as long as the ideas come. It will be set in Felarya and revolve around several different events, and also include some of Karbo's characters.

OH! OH! Damn, I'm sorry for the -inexcusably- late reply, even thought that made no sense. It's inexcusable, yet I'm sorry. Oh well. Anyway, I've had problems, and still have problems, with my DA account. Basically my inbox stays empty. So I didn't know =\ I'll be sure to read the new stories ASAP and leave comments Cheers!
