I've never been to Japan, unfortunately. ): However, I do read magazines like Kera and the Gothic&Lolita Bible, which have current street snaps of people so I at least see what people are wearing through that.
I actually watched Kamikaze girls recently too. My only lolita shoes that I own are actually from Baby, the stars shine bright lol. And I bought wristcuffs and a dress from their Alice and the Pirates line about a month ago too. xD

First off, you can get the english version of the Gothic&Lolita Bible in your local Borders/Barnes&Noble/etc. For the Japanese versions, you can find them at anime conventions, yesasia.com or your local Kinokuniya bookstore.
Second, you can order straight from Baby's website! [link] (There's now an official Baby,the stars shine bright store in San Francisco as well if you live nearby)

But I'm still trying to manage getting some anime in here and there. I'm watching Princess Tutu right now, while I wait for the new Soul Eater episodes to come out. xD
