Try it out. The franchise is a little complicated, though, so I'd recommend starting with the 2006 series, even if the animation may seem a bit dated.

Okay. I might recommend making a story of Serena and Misty exploring the mansion, with Misty riding on the armchair through the tunnel (where all the mechanical arms are treating her hair, with the last arms placing a bowtie around her neck), and discovering the machine.
