It's been great so far! I did a lot of sightseeing in South Germany before I met my host family up north near Denmark. They're very nice, and I'm getting along with them very well! I can definitely spend my next six months here!
Though it's a tad bit difficult to have some casual conversation with others in German. My grammar is great, but my vocab... not so much. It'll come with practice though.
There's also no Wi-Fi which makes it difficult for me to post pictures and update the blog I just made, but we're working on that right now.

Yeah, I may end the topic before I come back just so it'll end on a good note, but we'll see what hapens as time goes on!
And actually, I'm not of German descent. My dad's Scot-Irish and Slovakian while my mom's Chinese-Indonesian. They happened to both be exchange students to Germany and yeah, they met there.
Now they want me to have the same experience they had in foreign countries and so far, I'm enjoying it!
