Haha thanks ! Well mines starting to take forever now. I've kind-of-sort-of scrapped most of the designs I've done so far since I wasn't satisfied with them, and I needed to go back to doing studies.
My hypothesis right now is that more studies = better understanding = better designs = faster designing = more concepts. This is of course something that ramps up as you do more studies.

It's not really a bad thing to not finish stuff. Sometimes you realize something is beyond repair, or you think of a better design/idea/composition. Plus, once you get better, you can always revisit those sketches, and re-do them since the idea is still there and it'll get your brain going.
I like the sketch for the pirate woman you have there. It got away from you though once you went to block in color. I think her right foot was better off spread out like that. Much more dynamic and a wide / strong pose like that described what seemed to be her personality a little better than having the feet close.
But you know, that's the kind of thing you can come back to later and re-do when you've improved some. So always keep your sketches, because you were on the right track as far as the outfit design goes. Strong shape unity and your attachment points between garments was well defined/explained.
