hey i LOVE ur pixel art ! I was wondering (if you use paintool sai) What size canvas you use? like 300x300 and brush size? Ur a huge inspirations for me when it comes to pixel art and i really hope i get the chance to commission you someday <3Β Β Β

OH MY GOSHHH QnQ THANK YOUUU!
I do use SAI! I always start on a 3000x3000 canvas but thats just a personal preference and is super unnecessary honestly. I just like having the space to sketch really big.
Then once I get a sketch im satisfied with, i shrink it down to about 500 in height, width can be anything because of stuff like wings/tails/laying down poses.
For my REALLY small pixels I aim for about 200 in height. For my REALLY big pixels I aim for anywhere between 700 - 1000.
Now my brush size is simple to answer because I use a 1px binary tool, but I go absolutely crazy with it and I go back and clean up the pixel lines after i'm done. I really dislike trying to get the lines smooth and precise as im drawing them.
