sir, could you explain to me how you clean the bones, strengthen them, find the bones, and how you put then together? basically what is your process for rearticulating a skeleton

well, it depends on the dimensions of the animal you're working on... There are many methods you can find on the internet to clean the bones... For a big animal (let's say up to a dog size) I'd simmer the bones in water with a drop of dish soap, then i'd whiten it with low vol. peroxide. For a smaller animal(they're my favourites to process!) I'd use some ammonia for degreasing and alternates baths of strong H2O2 to oxidize the flesh. My animals come from many sources. some of them are roadkills, some are gift from my cats (well, for some of them I had to fight the cat to steal the pray! ), some were simply found dead for more or less natural causes, and others were given me by some hunter or relatives hunters ( it's the source I disprefere, but, hey, they'd hunt them anyway!) If you want more info and detailed help send me a PM.

I forgot to say that another method (I never tried it but I bet it's one of the best) is to use dermestid beatles that eats the flesh and leave the bones perfectly clear.

thanks for the watch, and seeing as your art involves bones, I will be sure to check it out.
