I finally figured out what Zetsu really is . . . I was thinking about it and it hit me like a pile of bricks.
It has been stated that Zetsu is from Konoha.
Zetsu is a plant . . .
What if Yamato wasn't the only one to survive Orochimaru's "Senju D.N.A experiment?" But it went horribly wrong with him . . . that would explain why Madara was able to make so many White Zetsu clones WITH The First Hokage's D.N.A . . .

After finishing the work Tay looked up at th clock to see she had finished it just in time! She gave a sigh as she leaned back in her seat to relax. "How do you like that you pedophile..." The bell suddenly rang making her look up. Everyone began to pick up their books making her quick to follow carrying her work with her. When her turn finally came she layed it down on his desk along with her book making her way to leave. "Miss Crawford?" She paused and stood there as he looked at her with a smile. "Can you stay behind? I want to grade it then return it to you." Tay was now the only person in the room with him as the door shut with an echo in the now hollow class room. She stood right where she was and waited in silence as he graded.
A lump began to form in her throat...she wanted to get out of their as fast as she could...she had a REALLY REALLY bad feeling about this. "Please hurry up..." He graded the papers slowly having to look in not a single book. "Oh come on man just GRADE them!"
