I haven't gotten past the part after you come out of the residential area because whenever I close the game, the save file isn't there ((sobbing in the corner)) I tried my best to leave it open and play it, but I lost it anyway . n .

Oh, did you tried install it again? Maybe it works?
Probably it is damaged when downloading but if that's not work, well, which icon are you clicking to open the game? There are more than one.
Also save more than 1 time and there more than 1 save files so use more than one?

I went and re-downloaded it, and then decided to pull up the help site link, and I found out what my problem was. I had to unzip the actual file into a folder on my computer; my computer being a Windows 7. It's got something to do with the files not registering on the system, but it should hopefully work now . u .

but
That could maybe work

I just click on the file that it tells me to in the readme document
I save the game in different slots (like when you go to the red or yellow blocks and save) just in case I need to go back at a certain point, but maybe I shouldn't do that...?
