Blair is an average-looking woman with a shorter stature and fair eyes, hair, and skin. She has a pointed chin with clear-cut facial features and pale down-turned green eyes that can be described as magnetic and penetrating. Her fair skin is decorated with freckles across her broader shoulders and they cover her legs and arms while lightly touching her face. She has thin lips, arched brows, and ginger lashes that pair with her shoulder-length, wavy hair. Her thighs and calves are muscular compared to the rest of her sturdy frame from her hobby of running. Blair is confident and capable in her body language which presents a sense of charm, power, and secrecy.

Personality
Search the nation but youβll never find a more passionate being than this redhead. She is strongly opinionated and usually well-informed, with irrefutable wit and intelligence; blessed with a keen intuition, Blair is often direct and very sharp. She does not care for superficial relationships and does not actively seek out the approval of others. This New Englander is very self-confident and hard-working but her graces can easily be outweighed by her controlling nature and self-destructive habits. Policing the public is not uncommon with Blair as she has always been regarded as exemplary in historical context.
Getting close to Blair is a challenge as she is enigmatic. Although she is generally charming and is equally attentive to all people, her temper can be lit out of nowhere and what follows is often off-putting. (( Thank you! And I know about the dismally small population of red heads in Massachusetts, much less the world, but at this point she's a caricature, in part, stereotype and mostly fact. Β I've had about 5 years to play around with her design and personality and her hair color and eye color (neither of which are common) were the only things that really made it from the first version to the current so there's a degree of attachment there too. ;;; ))

The Californian decided she would visit her sister-in-law. They were family after all. Especially now that she was married to her older brother. Perhaps if the two became close, who knows what she could get from her.
"Blair!" She opened the door to her house, believing she no longer needed to ring or knock anymore. Not like she did before anyways. "Hellooo~ guess who's here to visit!" She grinned.

Before Ashley could manage two steps into the New Englander's home, a voice from one of the backrooms shouted back, "Don't you dare step on the carpet before taking off your shoes." Quick footsteps were heard before the redhead poked her head around the corner, a passing look of surprise flashing across her face before she entered the foyer area, dressed in a loose athletic gray shirt and a pair of old jeans, all of which were accented by splatters of baby blue paint, some of which graced Blair's temple. Letting out a labored sigh, she swiped the back of her arm across her forehead, brushing away the sweat which had collected on her brow.
"Hey, you could have called ahead," the female remarked, no malice intended, "The entire living room smells like paint, but make yourself at home."

Blair rolled her eyes out of amusement, well aware of the Southern Californian's light-hearted intentions. "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up," she remarked, brushing her hands on the front of the old shirt. "No real occasion. The place is wicked old and needed some TLC. Christ, Maine and Rhody lived here when they were younger but it'd be a miracle if I could get either out here with a paint brush." The redhead turned to pad over the floor boards on route to the kitchen, expectant that Ashley would follow. "Thirsty?"

And Ashley did follow her sister-in-law to the kitchen. She looked around and slightly nodded. She understood; this place desperately needed a makeover. "Dude, I don't blame you. You need something new and, uh live! Yeah!" She grinned.
"Also I would love a drink. Got Sprite or Arizona?" She asked, sitting herself upon on a counter.

Blair nodded absently as she stole a glance at the walls which were papered with faded blue vertical stripes on top of a white background. In corners, the wallpaper seemed to bulge from where the glue had dissolved with time, revealing behind them a light gray slate of dry-wall. The insulation had been replaced many years ago from the concern of asbestos but those walls were practically identical in appearance to that of her childhood home's. It was old, dinky, and nostalgic, but Blair was rarely a woman to sit on the past for too long. She had more than made her reputation as an "out with the old, in with the new" kind of state and she was sure Ashley was thinking much the same thing.
"Sure do. Repainting the living room is easy, but I'm not sure what to do with this room or the upstairs," she nodded, opening the fridge door in order to pluck a green-blue can of Sprite from the cool interior. From there, the redhead placed the can on the counter-top before snagging a tumbler from the top reaches of the overhead shelf and proceeded to pass that too to her guest. "Care to give it a look?"

The Californian nodded as she opened the can and proceeded to pour it into the glass. "Sure, why not!" She smiled. "Dude, when you're re-designing, don't just redesign for the sake of doing so." She took a sip and slid off the counter. "You need a theme and plan. Got a theme, then you know exactly what to do."

Oh, man, I know what you mean. We've gone out for ice cream some evenings and it's practically melted within a 5 minutes of buying it. My Mum and I visited VA before the heatwave rolled through and it was still 90 degrees, so walking through the farmer's market wasn't as fun as we thought it'd be. ))
