I HAVE A GEOGRAPHY TEST TOMORROW PERIOD ONE AND THE ONLY THING I KNOW ABOUT IT IS THAT ISOBARS ARE LINES ON A WEATHER MAP THAT REPRESENT AREAS OF THE SAME AIR PRESSURE. I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ELSE.

It's ok geography shouldn't be that hard. The amount of stuff you learn in highschool isn't that much you know.

well, we dont really have exmas in year 8. it's not until year 10 when you have actual exams. unless you're in the acceleration math class in year 9. you do year 10 math exams instead of the year 9 tests... :/

geography was okay... o-o;
hope i didnt fail.

and indestructable insect was just like, taking an existing insect, then adapting its features to be...indestructable.
i just picked a fire ant, which was pretty stupid. fire ants are already pretty "strong".

and err, i gave it compound eyes instead of the little ones it usually has. thicker exoskeleton/armour, especially where the thorax is. that way, it can be protected from its main predators, phorid flies. (they lay their eggs in the ant's thorax, hang around there, then eventually releases an enzyme that will decapitate the ant... O_____O that's the vague part of it)

larger pincer and sting. hoof-like feet with light suction cups (like a caterpillar. ew) that will aid balance. that way, it wont fall over and get attacked. i also changed a few other things.

Ah k, sounds interesting, but it's late here and all i can see is a blur.

My exams are STILL going. What the....yeh that's right. My last two are on the 23rd and 24th of Nov. It sucks~ I know. It's on Chemistry (my ultimate hate subject since uni) and Physiology which is fun.

I'm doing mainly bio and chem, eventually majoring in anatomy type subjects.

also, i know this is a while away, but i was thinking of doing chemistry for VCE. is chemistry really that bad? isnt it just like, memorising a billion formulae and stuff like that? O_______O

(my 6 subjects for VCE might be english, general maths, math methods, chemistry, chinese and japanese. what did you do?)

no no chemistry in VCE is fine, it was alright and yeh not bad at all. I developed an allergy for it after 3yrs in uni and having to do it again, now that I'm studying science. I've lost my chemistry thinking hat lol.
There's not really much for u to memorise in VCE if I think about it. Just study a little each time and practice working problems.
My subjects where English, Spec maths, Methods, Bio, Chemistry. I did so Physics in yr 11 but Bio and physics clashed in yr 12 and had to drop. Unfortunately I didn't continue with my Vietnamese when I had the chance and dropped it too early... Didn't think I'd you know have to drop a subject.

=] I kinda hoped I did do language after during that year 12 year though, but it was too late. I dropped Viet in Year 10 just before entering year 11. I didn't want 7 subjects on my shoulders
Spec maths was alright.

Yes as far as I know you can even do four but it's not recommended. 6 is the max you can do that will count, and some people I've heard have done 7 even if they 7th one doesn't count towards the score. Doing five to lessen the load wasn't uncommon. But I didn't have a choice. It does give you more time to focus on them though.

So yeah. Do you think doing 2 language subjects (technically 3) is asking too much of myself?

English, Chinese and Japanese.

-English. well DUH, that's compulsory xD

-Chinese. I've learnt that for a loong, time now (8, maybe 9 years?) so it'd be a waste to not do it for VCE.
-Japanese. I'd consider that I've only properley learnt it for two years. I did do it at primary school, but it was just learning bits and pieces. It was only last year and this year where I'd learnt proper sentence structures. (Other the ones like "I like..." or "My name is Linda". I already knew those xD)

I don't think two languages is too much. If you like and enjoy it then continue with it. =]
That's fine, I've heard of students who did like a lot of music and language subjects lolol and did extremely well in year 12.

AND, I'm in the math extension class next year!
I don't mind that I'm not in the acceleration math class. I'm not smart enough, haha.
Besides, you do year 10 stuff in the acceleration class. PLUS, it's really stressful so I don't want to be in that class anyway. xD
