It depends where you travel to, but most people are nice, they can be pretty reserved though..
I found a pretty funny blog once, about danes xD But I can't find it now ._....
Anyway, You will experience that Danes are pretty busy xD And we do not start conversations with strangers, if it is not absolute necessary xD
We also avoid sitting next to each other in busses, benches, trains etc. if there is other seats xD
Most danes are friendly, and helpfull, so if you want to ask someone about direction, (if they can speak english) they most certainly will explain the way !
It is kind of hard to make friends in Denmark... The most natural way to do it, is to either join a class or something like that, or go to pubs/disco/bars etc or other parties.
A lot of young danes go party in the weekends, and that is a good opportunity to make new friends

In High School, they offered paths that you could take, so my main topics was English (highest niveau) social study and psychology
That's when I learned most of my grammar xD But other than that, I've watched a lot of movies, read a lot of texts on the internet, and communicate daily in english
