yeah they do think we are unpredictable. especially after that sandy hook thing happened. everyone who hears the word aspergers associates me with that alleged shooter. When I tell them I happen to have served in the US Marines for 5yrs. they pretty much shut up. I liked the structure, and you got in trouble for making eye contact (which i never do anyways) lol.

I was so pissed about how they made him out to be an emotionless robot that kills and blamed it on Aspergers, I am infuriated, I guess because humans want answers so the media finds 'answers', they need to learn theres not always an answer

i just posted this on one of your pieces of art. "I take pride in my aspergers" is my background on my work computer. my boss had the god damned audacity to not approach me and ask me about it but to spread around the pharmacy to everyone else but me that it is "blatantly offensive and inappropriate" needless to say I filed a grievance against him for discrimination. on the other hand i defended the same photo with this comment: ((((("I have aspergers too and i found this art AMAZING! Art is something that one can take a glimpse into another person's mind, see that person for who they are not what illnesses they have. If you can't differentiate the expressive and impressive art that Shortwired has created then move along; go troll on someone else's page. There's nothing for you to see here if you can't take the time to view past the sentence "I take pride in my aspergers" and look into her mind. Idk about shortwired but I have trouble communicating to people face to face. I have an IQ of 140. People with aspergers aren't crazy psychos like the news tries to portray. I think its BULLSHIT the way everyone has behaved on this page; you should all be ashamed of yourselves. You are supposed to learn from people's art not burn it! kharnthebetrayerplz sees aspergers as a curse....its not a curse at all, I am gifted at many things because of my aspergers....and I have just recently come to accept that I am different but I am a good person; I joined the USMC right after high school was an MP on the K-9 unit for 5 years and have an honorable discharge from service. So before you go judging people maybe you should read up on aspergers before passing your platitudinous judgments upon people you don't even take the time to get to know.")))))

It's quite alright I am guilty of not being on deviant art in quite some time
I ended up getting into a car wreck that messed up my neck, back, and hip very badly and now I am on disability.

I've been super busy lately because I have been setting up and getting approved for my 501(c)3 non profit wildlife sanctuary! It has been a busy time in my life but I wouldn't change it for the world. It is such an amazing journey and I am taking joy in sharing the good news with everyone!

Oh damn! I'm so sorry about that. I use to be on all the time, but it's been very rare as of the past 6 or 7 years. Life tends to take priority over dA.
