Good luck with that, my friend. Vampires have grown way out of control in popular media lately. Wouldn't've heard much about vampires in the 90's and they definately wouldn't be such pussies sparkle!

LOL. Actually, in the 90's we had Buffy and Angel, a complete rape of the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie (which is comedy gold btw, I highly recommend it). It wasn't until we let a mormon play out her rape fantasy in a series of novels that shit got outta hand methinks

Lol. Indeed. Buffy wasn't a good move. But the Twilight craze takes the cake in the great grand scheme of horrifyingly bad supernatural thingy majigs.

Never really heard of vampires unless you looked before twilight...Now everything's vampires, werewolves and 'sexy' (I use the term lightly) sparkly men.

I think there's been a "vampire" craze since the 80's with the goth movement, and again with White Wolf's Vampire: The Masquerade. But you're right, it's a saturated market now thanks to Twilight and it's awful AWFUL content >.<
