# About me
Hello beautiful artists viewing my dA~! My name is Katie.
I am a sixteen year old girl who resides in Texas and loves art. I also sing, play guitar, play violin, write songs/poems/stories, and am a computer nerd.
I love drawing manga and anime (I'm obsessed with anime and manga, heh) and I also love to do some illustrations of random things on the side. And as you can tell by my username, I am a fan of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise; my fan character is my deviantART username.
I am an open-minded metalhead who listens to about anything. I mainly listen to music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, but I also give some modern stuff a listen, too. My favorite band at the moment is Mushroomhead.
(And also, I listen to some "scene" bands, too, {ex.: Asking Alexandria, Bring Me The Horizon} but they're not real metal, I know; I just happen to like their music and if you don't like my opinion then I don't care, go cry about it if you want.) My top ten favorite bands at the moment have to be Mushroomhead, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Slayer, Machinehead, Led Zeppelin, Exodus, D.R.I., and Slipknot. I respect all music types, but don't force me to listen to faggots like these: I can listen to some pop bands, too, it just depends on my mood. I also happen to like vocaloid.
Favorite Animes: Inuyasha, Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji), Full Metal Alchemist, Ranma 1/2, Vampire Knight, Death Note.
Favorite Mangas: Stepping On Roses (Hadashi De Bara Wo Fume), Vampire Knight, Faster Than A Kiss, Kamisama Kiss, Inuyasha, Death Note, Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji).

Yeah. I like "her" music. I like all the Vocaloids, actually~.
Even though the music is created with voice synthesizers, they're still something different to listen to, and I find it nice to listen to something different every once in a while.

It's so nice to see someone with that haircut who actually wears it right. I am so tired of these emo/scene kids who get the large fluffy haircut and think it's their original style. Anyone with a sense of logic knows that comes from 80's rock/metal bands.

When I first saw your picture posted I was like I boy is it another scene kid trying to pass off as a rocker and then I clicked the picture and I looked closer at the bands you listened to and realised you're legit. I have the same problem you do with all of these emo kids or mallgoths thinking they're goth and people think I'm just like those kids. I can't stand that crap. I like 80's bands big hair goth rock death rock punk and new wave. I can't stand that garbage they think is goth or metal these days. Although I do like death, black, and thrash but mostly only if it has the classic sound except I like symphonic black metal because I enjoy a good classical symphony mixed with metal. And then melodic death metal from the 90's. *shrugs*

I was raised on a mixture of good and bad (my mom liked some rap which was terrible for me). Sadly, my parents never took Goth rock seriously, but they didn't hate me for it either. They just laughed at it. I'm not an extremely serious person and I can even laugh at myself, but when you won't listen to what I am saying and keep laughing it become a little rude.
