I know it's weird. But you mentioned Ninja Turtles and this is what I think of now because I saw this video a year ago on Knowyourmeme website.
Though the hansolo reference I DO remember, but I didn't understand or wasn't into star wars as a kid so I didn't get the reference even when I saw it as a kid.

I mainly want to know about the outfits Claire had in 2 and Code Veronica, I would like to do the outfit she had in Degeneration one day but maybe another time XD I'm also planning on cosplaying as her for this masquerade thing for a future convention and any other fancy dress up event type things that may happen. I've already asked some friends who are also RE fans what they think Claire would wear dress wise to a formal event, aaand I came up with not much of an answer XD Aaaaand since you actually are a Claire Redfield Cosplayer I was wondering if I could get your opinion on the subject XD I already have the mask picked out so now all I need now is the idea of a dress to either buy or hand make... ish.... aka either getting my mom to make it or one of my epic sewing friends to make it XD

Oh, that's a cool idea!
Hmm, the mask is quite pinkish...like that, I would say a simple black dress, long or short depending on what you prefer. And maybe add some accent, like the wing she has on the front of her vest in Code Veronica, but pink. And dark pink shoes. You could go for something a bit masculine, so no frills or too girly details on the dress.
