You're welcome! I completely forget what it was (and thus am being painfully vague and unhelpful), but you left a comment around on some dA forum that I really liked; I looked at your profile and I admire you goal on the site. Something I had to force myself to do (and it still takes a lot of work for me) is to get off the site and work on my own stuff. I can leave comments around here all day!

Thanks for putting the effort into leaving thoughtful comments around the site. I'm sure a lot of people appreciate it.

And, I need to be frank now: I was hesitant to add this part since I'm so self-conscious about my faith, but I always think it's cool to see a kind Christian around, showing their faith but not shoving it into people's throats. So, thanks for being honest and writing about what's important to you.

DA is a great community to be a part of. In real life, it's not easy finding artist I can connect to and be inspired by. Most of us are introverted, I could be sitting next to an artist in the train and may never know it unless I saw a drawing pad in hand. XD But here, it's easier to find people. We all have this artistic insight that normal folks are not able to see. We as artist have the visual power not only to communicate but also to discover many mysteries of our world and of ourselves on such a deep level. We're visionaries. We can be of great help especially to scientist's, engineers and builders. The possibilities are limitless.

I'm happy to share about my relationship with God from time to time, and simply show the source of why I've managed to remain so strong in character. I talk about how I am always determine to succeed as an artist, and how even when I have my moments of discouragement, I often find my answers to my problems almost instantly. Some people will eventually want to know what keeps me going strong, and I only need to share just enough, that I'm just a human cell phone, connected to the main outlet. Without my power source, I'll run out of juice on my own eventually, but only if I remain disconnected too long. And besides,
I can only help lead a horse to the water but I can't make the horse drink it. XD

Wow, you made that metaphor work well. Good writing! And, yeah, I get the bit about introverted. I usually do have a sketchbook in my hand, though, so most people know I like to draw. It's one of the few things I keep with me whenever I have a backpack, large pocket, or anything else to carry the small book with me. (I use it mostly for drawing, but it's also convenient for taking spur of the moment notes or whatever I feel like. )

Yeah, my sketchbook is often an unintentional conversation starter. I've talked with quite a few people for a first time just because they went "Are you drawing in there?"  and conversation ensues.

Sure thing! Everyone on my WATCH is there for a reason. Your style's cool and you look confident with your drawing. I've already read a few of your comics, and I like what I've seen. You've got some perspectives on life that I haven't really been exposed to, and I always enjoy new perspectives.

I would LOVE to work at one.... however, that is not the case. I do visit the Henry Doorly Zoo, in my city, at least 3x per month. It's a 20 minute drive from where I live. The $90 yearly fee has MORE THAN paid for itself! Truly, a beautiful thing!

Like SchroJones commented on your gallery about a year back, you look like you know what you want with your drawings, and that's really cool. You've really got a different style. Very clean and pointy, much like Jhonen Vasquez (but different enough from his style, too. ). Is there anyone you extensively drew the art of when you were starting or anything?
