True. I was born in 1984 and I speak very fondly of the 80s, although I don't remember really anything from that time (I was under 6 years old).
However, My dad had old computer magazines lying around that were from 1985-89 and I used to read them all the time. That was after I was 6 or 7 when I learned to read. So my early 90s were pretty much spent living with the games of late 80s. It's technically not my memories of the 80s, but my 90s memories of 80s things. Close enough anyway.
