i use various programmes, the one i use for creating my OC's is usually Daz studio but i have also used XNA Lara or xps.Β

i havent used 3DS Max in a long time but i will try and get back into it cause apparently the Daz models render really good in 3DS Max!
as for animation in 3DS i havent looked at that at all so i cant help you there but it would be cool to learn how to animate 
my GF uses Daz too so we tend to work out the kinks together

Well I got the 3dsmax student version just wanna learn probably two things: Static object modeling (You know those interiors stuff) and animation, my mind was blown when i see the interface... Just like reading a book that put me asleep lol
