Well, I've had a crush on this girl for a while, and I really want to tell her, but I'm not attractive in the looks department. She's my only other friend besides, other in real life friend, and a few tumblr friends I made, and you??? (can i call you my friend???) Yeah. Besides, I tell her everything and she does the same with me. It hurts to talk to her, see her, hang out with her, anything to do with her because I'm always reminded of what will never happen between us. I can never call her mine, never do cute couple things with her. I'll always be her best friend. I know that because she told me who she likes. She's my world. I'd do anything to protect her and my friends. I want her to be happy all the time. To see her smile and laugh. Even when I'm not happy myself. And it hurts, because we talk every single fucking day with each other. And just the other night, we celebrated my birthday. I took her and my other IRL friend to a tree lighting thing and dinner. I sat down first, then she sat down next to me and my friend across from us. After the tree lighting thing, I began to think about what will never happen and I got really upset. I was extremely quite the rest of the night. I want to be able to make her feel special, feel loved. She is so important to me and I can't bare it. I don't know what to do. I don't think I want to know, because what if I fuck up and tell her and she doesn't want to be my friend anymore or it's always awkward between us. I don't want that. I'd rather be by her side as her best friend than not be by her at all.

In a situation such as this, I would normally offer some sort of advice. However, this is quite delicate, and I don't want to be responsible for something bad. Tell me... what do you think is right, in your heart? To tell her, or not to tell her?

And what's right in my....heart? to tell you the truth, I am so conflicted about it. I really have no clue what to do. But if I really had to say, I would want to tell her, but I'm so afraid of the possible outcomes.

I would prefer to tell her, but I've been miserable for a while, so that wouldn't be new to me. And not to sound weird, but it would be like getting a fresh cut from something on an arm that's already covered in scars.
