About him: When his master was in the process of creating the Shadowloid model, Kagene Rei, she did not have enough money to do so. This goes for his twin model, as well. Doing some illegal actions which could have gotten her arrested, his master continued making what she had started, despite the consequences. She had been successful of creating both Shadowloid models, though not much is know if his master had to pay for her actions, or if Rei knows the fact that he was illegal made or not. That remains a mystery.Kagene Rei is intelligent, but very antisocial and usually keeps to himself rather than open up to others. He’s very quiet to the point where other people wouldn’t even notice him or they simply ignore him. Often he’s found playing his grand piano, reading a book, or doing some puzzles in his spare time.
He can be quite rude and cold to others he’s not familiar with, just to keep people away from him or he’s simply not interested in being around you. Though if you manage to befriend him, he’s a lot more gentle and caring. If Rei really likes you, then he’ll protect you at all costs, just as he does with his sister, Rui.
Another thing about Rei is he's completely dense when it comes to love. He knows friendship love and sibling love but as for having a partner, he doesn't know very much. About 99% of the time he's completely clueless and the other 1% would have to be pure luck for him to actually know.
Rei is also a Yandere, though not as much as Rui, he’s a lot more gentle. You can say he’s probably one of the less violent ones. Usually he would just yell at you angrily if he gets into his Yandere moods, though if you go too far he does have a few tricks up his sleeve that could knock you out cold or possible death without causing a bloody mess.
After all, a great musician must be prepared at all costs to be ready to preform, right? ♥

Gathering out a small spider that was in danger of a careless resident stepping on it, Rui picked it up and let it scamper about on her hand. As she stood back up from her hunched position, honey eyes lay on a familiar boy. A know boy. Her brother. The girl was a bit taken aback to suddenly see him in the halls. She was about to go practice piano, however did not expect to finally see him whilst he may have been going to the same place. Rui gently tapped his shoulder, inaudible as usual. " Hello, brother..."

It seemed like it was going to be like any other day. Same quiet mansion. Same daily routine. There really wasn't much to do these days. He would usually spend his time in the music room, taking care of all the instruments on occasion or playing his grand piano. However, someone tapped his shoulder and once he heard that voice, he stood there quite surprised at first and then turned towards her. It was Rui! His dear sister! After worrying about her for quite some time, she's finally back and safe.
Rei was really happy inside, but couldn't hold back his anger and worry for her leaving. "Rui! Do you realize how worried I was about you!? Why you simply left without a word! Not a simple goodbye or a letter to tell me where you have gone!" Obviously, he was upset. He never really did yell at his sister, but this was serious. "I thought something tragic has fallen upon you! Ren, who decided to help look after you did not even know of your whereabouts!" Rei scolded her, but once he was done yelling, he let out a sigh. "I am glad you are home, dear sister. Please do not leave without a word again." He hadn't noticed the spider quite yet. After all, his mind was on Rui right now.

Oh! One thing I noticed about you. Rui actually plays the violin. Not the piano. She does happen to like it, though. Just thought I'd let you know. I don't think many know about that information. ))

Rui was not expecting for her brother to have such a sudden outburst or to yell at her. As she listened to the other she noticed he had been genuinely worried about her. How sad would it be to not know where your twin was. " I...I didn't know how to...word a proper...good-bye. I would have come back either way, I assure you. I just..." She bit her tongue and didn't know what to say. It was so stupid to Rui that she hadn't been able to bid farewell to her own twin. What a dumb girl she felt like. Her caretaker Ren was mentioned and she looked up with a small smile." You were so worried you called on Ren...for that I am truly grateful, brother."She closed her eyes and smiled, pulling her brother in an embrace with the arachnid still in hand. It was too hard for her to say goodbye, and she never wanted to again. Honey hued pupils were soft and light. Everything was okay now. Everything was going to be alright.
" Say..were you perhaps heading towards the music room?" she asked, quite sure he was.

"Next time you ever decide to leave, simply leave a note that you will be taking off, and your location. Any contact information would be nice, as well." Rui was the only one he allowed to hug him without any word. They were siblings after all. Anyone one else who tried to hug him would have to be a really, really, close friend, and he had to be in a good mood. Though, with the way he is, none of the friends he did have ever hugged him. Well, expect for one, but she was always pushed away because she never knew when not to hug him. Anyway, he returned the hug, now noticing the spider. "Yes, of course. I was... busy, that I needed another eye on you. " He paused for a moment. "Rui... the spider. Are you going to put it someplace safe?" Even if his sister was being careful with the spider, it was best to put it somewhere safe for now.
"Ah, yes! Indeed I was. I spend most of my time in the music room these days, but perhaps you should take care of the spider first."

Rui smiled and nodded. Her eyes returned to the arachnid and she stopped hugging her brother to find a proper place to put the spider. " Does the mansion have a specific place for animals to be safe?" she looked around. Perhaps she should keep it? She did possess the ability to withstand maintaining an animal as a pet, so maybe that was the best choice...

"No, it does not. Not many of the mansion residents have animals. Only quite a few do. I happen to have a tarantula in my care. If you wish to take care of it, you may. If not, we can go to the woods and find a nice place for it to call home." The woods was only behind the mansion. It wasn't a far walk to get to them. It's odd how large spiders have been making their way to the mansion. First the tarantula he had. Rei only had it because someone was freaking out that it was crawling up their leg, so he had to save the girl and the poor spider. He didn't put it out into the wild because he could use company sometimes. The Shadowloid did grow quite lonely, even if he never showed such feelings. Now, the arachnid Rui found. It's very odd for them to show up here...

Rui thought for a while. " I much rather keep it myself. It can very well survive on its own, however we never are quite sure if another animal may kill it," And then she frowned slowly. " Though...I was considering having a cat, as well.."

Oh my, what this? Had she gotten lost once again? Such a shame, she used to be able to navigate the mansion as if it were the back of her own hand. Alas, not any more. The layouts of the labs and city overrode such necessity. For now, she had taken to tearing off bits of her pointed foil hat, sad to let it go, but knowing it was for the better good. However, this action ceased as a rather dark being caught her bright eyes. It would be rather rude not to say anything, so with a gentle wave, the female set foot towards him, singing out her hello.

He was just on his way to the kitchen to warm up some tea. Rei was thinking of spending his time doing just that, along with solving crossword puzzles to past the time. It was probably going to be yet another boring day at the mansion. He didn't mind, though. Rei was starting to get use to the eventless days that passed by. While on his way to the kitchen, he heard a voice and noticed a bright yellow girl. Was she speaking to him? It appeared so. He was the only other person around. "...Ah, greetings. I'm Rei. You are?" It was always polite to introduce yourself first before going on into conversation.
Something silver had caught his eye. It was the tin-foil hat she was carrying. Now, why would she be carrying that around? It seemed rather silly. Though, he asked nothing of it.

Giving a well-practiced curtsy the yellow mass would give a few nods. "Nice to meet you Rei. I'm Neon, but I'm also a bit mixed up in my directions." Alas, it was a bit embarrassing to admit, but there should be no embarrassment in learning something new, right? Perhaps the female would come to draw up a map at some point in time, although it would be unlikely to be done in the near future. Noticing Rei seemed to be headed somewhere, Neon could only notice that she had probably interpreted him, in the chance that he, like so many other residents as of late, was to be lost deep within thoughts consisting of 0's and 1's.
"Oh, where you busy? I regret bothering you if you were." The foil mass in her hands was merely bits and shreds of its former, hat-like glory, unable to sit on even a goldfish's head as it was now a crumpled mess.

"Pleasure to meet you, Neon." Well, not quite. He was never excited to talk to people, unless they happen to be friends of his. It was polite, though, to greet people kindly. "Ah, you're lost? Do you need some help finding some place?" His tea could always wait for later. It was common for new residence to get lost in such a large mansion and it shouldn't take too long to help guide her to wherever Neon was headed. Even some of the residence that lived here for a while get lost sometimes. They always find their way back, though.
"Hmm? Oh no. It can wait. I was just on my way to make some tea. The mansion is quite lonely and there's not much to do. Escorting you wouldn't be a problem."

Yuki wandered around the mansion, suddenly overcome with boredom. She continued walking until she ran into someone.
"Ow!" she says. Then she looks up at him.
"You remind me of someone..." she says, confused.

The sudden push of someone running into him had nearly knocked him over. He turns towards whoever it may be. An expression of anger plastered on his face as he glared at the girl before him. "Please watch where you are going madam! How rude it is to collide with someone without giving an apology!" It seemed the mansion is starting to fill with residence who don't look where they're going. What an annoyance. He'd understand if they were blind, but it's obvious she could see after she said he just reminded her of someone. Though, he did not make a remark on it.

"Oh!" she says.
"Excuse me sir, I'm really sorry..." she says. Is everybody mean here? she thinks to herself.
"My name is Yuki. What's your name, sir?" she says, turning on the cute charm. She clasps her hands and widens her eyes in an 'oh-so-cute' way.

Rei let out a small sigh and dusted himself off. The anger on his face slowly went away to his normal expressionless face. It was only an accident. Best not to get too angry. Though, he couldn't help himself sometimes. A lot of people living here were so rude, and he didn't like most of them. There were a few he didn't mind, though. "Do be careful next time. Both of us could have gotten hurt." Thank goodness that wasn't the case.
"Greetings, Yuki. I'm Rei." He replies in his monotone voice, not at all fazed by her cute charm. Rei rarely found anything cute, anyway. "Are you new here, perhaps?"

She nods. "I just arrived...about a few weeks ago! I'm just getting to meet everyone!" she says, thinking, he sure sounds boring.

A few weeks ago? Well, she was slightly new here, he guessed. He didn't bother greeting the new faces that were arriving at the mansion, lately. Rei wasn't very social, anyway. It was always awkward whenever someone tried communicating with him. "Ah, I see." Oh, she was apologizing. That was nice of her. Usually people didn't have manners around here. "It's quite alright. I can see it was an accident. Still, I have faced this with other residence before. It has grown to be quite an annoyance." The young musician let out a sigh, relaxing his shoulders.
"How has getting to know everyone coming along? Do you like living at the mansion?" Rei was trying to keep a conversation going, but it was rather hard. Well, he was trying his best!

"You haven't?" she repeats, more to herself. "I don't like people who aren't nice...a lot of people tease me anyway..." it was nice that he wasn't shooing her away, like some other people -eyeballs FAUX, Hagane Miku, and Nazotoki-.
"Most of the people in the mansion are really nice! I'm just getting to know most of them, and...some of them are nice. Like Mikuo and FAUX! Sadly, I haven't met Miku-sama yet..I hear she's really popular!" she says, starting to babble like her old, before-vocaloid self. Now she's starting to think she's annoying him...

"I haven't what?" It may have not been directed entirely to himself, but it left him a little confused. He didn't remember saying 'I haven't...' "Well, that's not nice. Did you do something to upset them, perhaps?" Rei noticed she seemed to be eyeballing something. What in the world was she staring at? The wall? Her eyes wasn't directed at him so it must be something else. There was no one else around them, currently. "Excuse me, may I ask what you are staring at?" If he didn't have trouble expressing emotions, one of his eyebrows will be raised and he'll have an expression of confusion.
"Ah, that's nice. I suppose. You say quite a lot of people tease you. Yet, you say most of them are nice. Which is it? Unless it's equal." Rei paused. He hasn't met any of those people. Probably because of his anti-socialness. Mainly it's because he hasn't seen them or he doesn't know who they are. "Ah, Miku. I have not seen her. I believe she doesn't live here. She is an official Vocaloid and most likely busy with other important matters."

"Haven't...Oh, I'm sorry...I forgot...Well, I kicked HagaMi in the shin, did the same with FAUX, but he's practically a murderer, and Nazo's just scary...I didn't do anything to him..." she says, wondering if she's confusing him at the moment..."Oh, nothing. I just saw HagaMi walk by." she says, giggling in her head. He doesn't seem to express feelings...
"Yeah, it's pretty even..." she says, almost inaudible. "I haven't met that many people yet, but some are nice and some aren't. "It's equal. Have you met any of them?" she asks.
"True. She just made it to the United States, right? I can't wait to see her. I hope I can go to the United States one day!"

Uta walked down the hall and did a double take. A black haired boy stood in front of him. "Ren?" he asked. How could that be...? He'd just seen...him...

Cold, honey eyes glanced over to the boy before him. No emotion shown in them, whatsoever. Oh. Another one mistaking him for the one with the bat wings. Few knew of those wings, however. They're meant to be kept a secret so he spoke not a word of them. He sees no similarities between Ren and himself, though. Ren didn't wear such fine clothes such as himself. Why this young musician was much neater. "You are mistaken, sir. My name is Rei." He spoke in monotone, growing silent again. There was no need to say another word to someone he doesn't know. Rei wasn't much of a conversationalist, anyway.

"Why thank you. A musician such as myself must be in proper wear and clean at all times. Why it's simply disgusting to be filthy." Now this was a first. At least with what he can remember. "No. Impossible." Though, some may think that all Len-based and Rin-based are all brothers and sisters with each other. Why the metal Len-based called all the other Len-based vocaloids his 'little brothers.' What a silly thing to do. Rei did not believe that, however. He had about three siblings. Two looked nothing like him but they were created by the same master. Quite a shame, though. He hadn't seen any of them for quite some time.

Mako was walking in the hall, still trying to figure out how the mansion was made, when she noticed a spider on her leg. But not a regulary spider; a tarentula.

She looked around for someone who could help her. She didn't know how to react to that kind of situation. She saw a black-haired boy. she made big signs with her arms for him to notice her.

The day was hot and none of the air conditioners appeared to be on. Wearing black clothes didn't really help either but he had a closet filled with the same outfit. As he went down the hall, honey eyes spotted a girl who was waving her arms wildly towards his direction. Was she saying hello?
Rei turned his head back to see if there was anyone behind him to see if the girl was saying hello to someone else but, no. There was no one behind him. So clearly she was waving to him. Though he noticed her expression of fear. Wondering what was wrong, he studied her to see what was wrong and found the source of the problem on her leg. "Ah." He approached calmly. "Stay calm. You're only frighting it." Rei kneeled down, looking at the tarantula. "Try to stay still, if you would please. It's possible it could bite you from feeling threaten from all the movement you are doing."

''B-bite? D:'' she said, praticly screaming, trying to stay as calm that she could. It was already pretty rassuring to have someone to help her.
She looked at the black dressed boy. He seemed calm, just like if he was used to that kind of situation... or maybe he was just calm from nature.
''You seem pretty calm... could this spider.. be yours?''

Rei didn't answer her right away as he was waiting for the tarantula to climb onto his hand. He stayed completely still and tried telling the little creature that everything was okay and he meant no harm. It took a while before it fully crawled onto his hand, once it was, he stood up.
"No, it does not belong to me. I'm rather fond of spiders and I don't recall this one belonging to anyone. I'd assume it came from outside." He spoke in his monotone voice, looking down at the tarantula. It appeared more calm now. Which was a good sign. "I guess I'll take it under my care. Are you alright now?"

''Y-yeah...'' she said, a bit still scared by the giant spider.
''Could it be possible that, huh... there would be others?''

"It's possible but highly unlikely. Be more aware of your surroundings and keep away from spiders. You'll be fine if you do just that." His gaze continued to focus on the tarantula, checking for any signs if the small creature was stressed or still in defensive mode. It was staying in one place so it probably thought it wasn't safe to move right now. So he decided to do the same. Stay in one place and remain still until the tarantula was comfortable again.

Mako noticed what the boy was doing, so she decide to do the same, in case that the spider would jump or something.
She waited a while, and finally asked:

He didn't bother lifting his head to look at her. She was okay now and the tarantula was safe too. "Yes, you may." It's not like he was keeping her or anything. Rei decided to go look for a nice little box to put the fuzzy spider in the mean time. He'd have to stop by the pet shop later and get the needed supplies.

I was in an unfortunate kidnapping incident conducted by what appeared to be your brother, the Impostor, and the lovely plant girl.
*Taiko hissed and pulled the jacket she wore tighter around herself, using one hand to indicate her new body*
I was reduced to ruins by those three and when I came too, the nice Al came to my rescue and offered to take me to Drunk-chan to fix me. However, it seems her brains were in the wrong place!
