hahaha i'm sure its been done before, i used Ben Nicholson as an artist model and just ran with it from there. your art is gorgeous! I love it how you have progress shots for some. Must take aages. Keep at it!

:) (Smile) Almost everything has been done before - it's an annoying but challenging paradoxon for every artists... I haven't knew B.N. before but done some google search to get acquainted with, thanks! I've done the progress shots to disperse a bit the mystical ambience that sourrounds the portraits; nevertheless it's a good thing if I can help this way.

defiantly, there's a definitive amount of subjects in the world. Years ago an artist was seen as original if he stretched the boundaries through subject matter. Now perspective, imagination and sometimes obscenity is all we have. nothing wrong with having good technique though :P (Lick)
