Ayy lucky!! We have a different school system here i guess?? When you start at year 11 you choose between a TON of different school programs (regular, arts, sports, International, media and communication, health and so on and so on) im taking regular which basically mean I have all the boring classes and cant choose to have an art class or music class or whatever. Sometimes I regret not taking arts but i have No idea what im going to do with my life. Hehe.

That's so weird! In my school you obviously gotta take the basics (English, 2nd language, History, a science, etc.) but you can always choose extra classes. There are def over 8 types of art classes, and a couple different music classes. And IB Visual Arts is just through the IB Diploma program, which I'm doing. It just means I'm taking all IB classes (pretty hard w/ a lot of homework), and also have to write a 4,000 word self designed research project over the course of the 2 years (all IB classes are over 2 years), + a CAS project which is just a community service project. Then by the end I get some fancy piece of paper. There are 5 kids doing the diploma program in my year, but a bunch taking just a couple IB classes.

That sounds like alot of fun! Maybe except for all the work. Is IB sort of an International program? If so it sounds very similar to what one of my friends is taking. I really wish to have an art class, but taking an entire education/ school course in art sounds heavy.

Yeah! It stands for International Baccalaureate! And I'm only heavy on work because I'm doing the whole diploma. Most people in my grade take maybe 2-3 IB classes, a WCC (community college) course so they don't have to take it in actual college (Suuuuuper easy classes) and some normal classes. If you're just a normal kid at my school, the homework load isn't that bad.

Well, 'cause I'm doing all IB and only 6/~270 people want to do it in each grade. It's suuuuper hard. It won't get any easier next year either, 'cause thats when all the IB testing is! Big bad tests that you go over in your classes for actual months, just to prepare you. Is school hard for you?

I have to take IB math, and I actually like it! I think it's more of the teacher that makes the difference, 'cause last year I hated my Algebra 2 class but that was because I was terrified of the teacher.
