well, the only thing I could figure to say is that you should not overdo photoshop, since it is, in my opinion, quite overrated. But I red on your profile you've been practicing, and well, my critique has to stop there. Practice makes 'perfect', you simply need to find a balance, right?
I shall take a much closer look at your works after my exams. But first, attention and commitment are needed offline!

Agreed when looking back on my pictures I know that I have definitley gone overboard photoshopping like mad on some pictures. I've learnt and realised that slow and gradual builds in photoshop leads to more defining pictures rather then just going for the straight visual enhancements. Again I'm slowly growing and learning and as you said I need to find that balance!

Yes well, it's what I figured. You always need to both over- and underdo on something before you find the balance, so keep experimenting!
I'm quite eager to see what you will learn, and how the process continues, though I might not be the right person to give critique on the use of photoshop (I'm a fail with it, seriously).
