i tried dear esther, it was relatively short, but the graphical content and audio were really well done! It certainly was a unique way to make a story, using visual analogies to convey the characters feelings of grieving. its definitely something i have not seen.
Ill have to try out the point and click one sometime, though... im not sure if its my style. Whats it all about?

Botanicula is a beautiful little game, with a quirky humor.
A wonderful story and very interesting characters and puzzles.
It's not a long game, but there are moments that occur in the game that make it definitely worth completing.
