# About me

My name is Kenton J Moore. I currently live in Victoria, BC, but grew up in a small town called McLure north of Kamloops, BC. I am studying to become a concept artist or matte painter, in order to pursue my dream of a career in art. I really try to tell a story with my work, but sometimes it doesn't always happen that way. I believe that to succeed, we must first learn to fail, in order to experience what does not work. I am open to critiques and constructive criticism on any level at any time, so that I can continue to learn what I am most passionate about in life.

Where on the island are you learning zbrush? I couldn't find any courses available...

Check out Vancouver Animation School. They're an online school, so you can study with them from anywhere in the globe. I'm currently in their Concept Art program, which teaches both zBrush and Photoshop from working industry professionals. They're accredited too... 15 month intensive course nets a recognized Diploma. There's also Digital Tutors. Small monthly fee nets you access to a HUGE library of video lessons for tons of programs from Maya to zBrush to Photoshop and even Unity or Nuke.

It goes well! Sorry it took so long to reply - I don't touch my DA account nearly as much as I should - some guilt I imagine, that as of yet I have contributed nothing. Oh well - soon.

I hear you've been up to some very interesting things! I can't wait to chat at the next Thursday thingy (I'm going to come to this one if I can)

Taro mentioned as well that a friend of yours was recruiting a crew for a ship (Hekatonkheires if I'm not mistaken?) for the Con in May, so I thought I'd offer my services - the characters I have planned (The Doctor, and The Gunslinger) would, I think, fit right in - so if you could mention my interest to your friend that would be great. The Gunslinger was originally imagined as some sort of Officer, but Taro and I were thinking he'd also fit nicely as her Mercenary's partner. Just food for thought that.

See you Thursday I imagine~

Hiyas!

I'm looking forward to it as well! I've got some interesting new projects on the go, and can't wait to see what kind of challenges you can come up with for me!

Oh believe me, I've been brain-cooking trying to come up with the ultimate cool costume to do... I keep coming back to the gorgeous designs from games like Soul Calibur and Tales of Genji.

And of course, I'm interested for your advice on a couple steampunk contraptions I'm working on - namely my Lightstaff.
