Please tell me again your recommendation, what to do about nibs wearing out on Wacom tablets.
I've finally bought myself a tablet, an Intuos Pro Large.Β Β It's not working yet; as expected, getting it to work on a Linux machine is not entirely a no-brainer.Β Being optimistic, I think maybe all I have to do is download the right driver from the Ubuntu/Wacom site.
If it works, you should soon see some freehand drawings from me, probably done in MyPaint.

I used to know what they were called, but the name isn't coming to mind right now! Β It's those clear plastic binder sleeves, I got mine at walmart. Β One makes two covers! Β And it's thin enough it won't mess up the pen movement.

Ever think about making duck calls?
Just last week I learned about a TV series, "Duck Dynasty", which I gather is wildly popular.Β Β My nephew-in-law and his family watch it all the time.Β Β
Anyway, it's about a real family, who I gather got rich making duck calls.Β So there must be good money in duck calls, if you can make one that's better and/or cheaper.Β Β It can't be terribly complicated to make them.Β The trick is to make a duck call that works.Β Β Or maybe you can think of something else, something nobody is getting rich on yet.

I'm sure you know what a plot bunny is. Well, when I first made this account I used to write a lot. An idea would pop up and drive me nuts till I wrote it down. So when I had to pick a username here I had the image of toon style rabid bunnies doing a powwow around the room stuck in my head.
