Yep I'm pretty sure that if people actually liked GLaDOS there would be more stories sympathetic to her. Usually they end with her being defeated again/humiliated in some way.

I'm happy to hear that!    I read a LOT of fanfic, and I'm not saying this ALWAYS happens, but I can't really remember a time she got a happy ending.  There was one fic I liked until the final chapter, where she didn't die but she still lost.  I don't know whether the author noticed that was the only chapter I didn't review.
