i never got into Alpha. i just didnt play it really.
super turbo and 3rd strike are my faves.
i love fighting games.
especially the cross overs. capcom vs snk.
marvel vs capcom.
Samurai showdown was awesome aswell.

i always like Alpha's style and i got back into it when they released it for the PSP way back in the day lol.
3rd Strike is def my favorite fighting game (of all time?), but i got a space in my heart for the Capcom vs. SNK games too. Capcom vs. SNK 2 particularly - Hibiki + Cammy + Mai!
this last Marvel vs. Capcom was decent too, it was fun. i still think the first one tops it though.

its my favorite fighting game. i Strictly use Ken when i play any
street fighter. but to behonest im not very good at street fighter lol
im much better at tekken and dead or alive. i like street fighter better
though.

nice! i would throw Haohmaru and Chunners into the mix as well. Chun Li has always been a favorite, especially in 3rd. i just hate the bad rep she gets due to the spinning-bird spammmers. did you ever see that EVO match between Daigo and Justin Wong, where Daigo (using Ken) parried Chun Li's Houyoku-Sen Super Art Special? it was a sad, sad day for Chun Li lol.
Tekken was not bad, it had a fun system and technique. Soul Edge/Soul Caliber i was never really interested in, it always felt like anyone could just jump on and button mash and be able to win. it's almost as if you lost easier if you tried to be skillful about it.
DOA is fun! i never got to play it much, but i liked how if you could keep countering each others moves between two skilled players. it made for some very awesome fights. *cough cough*Kasumi*cough*
