Sup Bro,
Im a nubie photographer with the Nikon D40 lens bundle. I watchd alot of you YouTube ViDs and gained plenty of knowledge...do you have any advice on my weapon of choice and any lenses I should start off with?

the d40 is a good camera to start with. after using that for a while I would look at the nikon d90.

I saw some of you videos on youtube and came to your site here. In you opinion, 3rd party glass is not good on the d700? thats what I was thinking of doing, but I am still not sure. Its a toss up between the D700 and D300. I want the good glass that nikon has, but I would love the full frame. its such a hard decision for me.

do not buy crummy glass. It is better to have a d300 with a great lens than a d700 with a sigma or something else that wont give you sharp images.

make sure it is an important shot. Only take your very best shots with film because film is expensive.

Good advice, love the nature photography, I was thinking of getting some Velvia 50. Do you have any shots in your gallery that are shot on this cool stuff? Any suggestions on using it?

Not yet. You cant make a mistake with velvia 50. the exposure has to be just right so be careful.

Oh yeah, by the way. Check out . He has some really awesome landscapes that I think you'd enjoy. Combines a few panoramic shots together to make a larger panoramic shot. Some other really cool effects to. Enjoyed your youtube videos, and you have some awesome shots on your account!

Hey i as well get a kick out of watching ur videos... Im thinking of getting either the Nikon 24-70mm 2.8 AF-S, or the Nikon 24-85mm 2.8 AF. I realize the 24-70 is quite the cost, and the 24-85 is lower priced... Could I please get ur input on the two.

thanks for the fav bro! i think we have some shots that are from very close locations! are you near the foothills? clubwest area? i'd recognize that view of the estrella's from anywhere. i have about a hundred shots just like it haha maybe of the same sunset. small world!
