I've been around! just a lot of video game playing and working, so I haven't really been drawing. Kinda in one of those really long artist blocks anyway. >_> I still lurk every day though. :3

Thanks! ;D All this praying people were doing for me musta worked! Because I got the job!! I'm so happy! Maybe the whole job thing will make me feel like my drawing time is more limited and I'll actually start enjoying being able to do it again.

D: Because as of right now, even though I get ideas, for some reason whenever I attempt to, I just get super sleepy suddenly.

Heya! I've been around, however just not in a drawing mood. Yay more artists block! I really am thinking of taking a class or something for art. It might help out since I'll be forced to draw or fail, but ughhh those classes already started. Other than that, I've just been playing video games >.> Most recently, Final Fantasy XIV.

Yeah, it's been really tough. I hate having artists block. And with me they seem to last years--or until I get really, really depressed. >_> Which isn't really a fun way to go about actually drawing again.

You just need to get out of your own way. Every negative thought about art is probably from you ( if it's from another then leave a burning bag of poop on their door step).  I think your stuff looks good so you have no excuse. You'll just have to fight the demons that want to keep you unproductive and self loathing and embrace the truth of your value. Art is just a system, I know inspiration issues because I put too much value on things. My idea of the artistic processes and individuality were side by side and I couldn't separate the feeling of disappointment in myself when others didn't rush over to comment/like/love. Even in personal situations where I didn't post my art people around me would be art critic and I felt burnt from the whole thing. I realized people just want me to succeed and they would say their 'negative' things to sharpen me. I took it as personal attacks of character and whateves. Just don't let your mind twist a positive into a negative. It's different for people though, some want accolades and others want to be fulfilled with their own work. I believe you'll get back on your feet. You'll be fine.

Hey!

Seems I hit another artists block and haven't really been able to do find the motivation to draw lately. I've been trying, but nothing ever gets past the sketch phase, and even that is usually ...ew. Lol. Other than that, I've just been sick for a while. Hospital visit because of asthma, then flu....then another hospital visit from asthma... just now starting to get over all of it, and on my way to getting better.

Been trying to work out and I guess my asthma and immune system don't like it. But screw what it thinks!

Yeah, I need to draw more buildings and environment stuff. I naturally want to draw what is easier for me. But that doesn't help me any. I'm glad you like though ^_^

I've found it hard to get the inspiration to draw even when I'm healthy. I'm not sure why but I've just had this MAJOR artists block for...well, for years it seems. As emo as it sounds, the only time I find myself actually able to get into the mood to draw is when I'm depressed, haha. Though, that pony I drew when I was happy so it was nice to have a breath of fresh air from only being able to draw stuff I actually liked when sad. Other than drawing, I've just been hopping between games and such. So I guess that takes up a lot of my drawing time as well. Too much WoW, too much Guild Wars 2, too much any other game in between. BUT SO MUCH FUN. ^.^

Ahhh I see, you are very emotionally driven with your art. You'll just have to find a way to express yourself emotionally everyday. Emotions are touchy things though. Because when you make art based on emotional states we have those intimate relationship with the art. And if that art isn't well recieved we are stabbed in the soul. I've had my share of emo drawings. I know how you feel. Just transform art into a extension of your desire instead of a reaction to emotional whim. I believe in you!
