Hi, my name is Jens. I recently started with the medium pen and ink. I like black and white illustrations. The fact that one create much unconscious conclusions while gazing on ink work because in this medium one is forced to suggest and outline things, or rather omit things, is very interesting. Hey, you don't have to thank me for the faves every time (what's neither bad nor good).
In recent time, I have not much time, that's why I don't do comments, only faves. And - how you can surely see - I don't upload new drawings. :/ Maybe it's my real nature, the not-drawing. Because I have time to draw, but I don't use the time for drawing. So, the time will show me, what the future brings.

I usually just drop a thank-you if someone chooses a picture of mine, even if I've thanked them before.Β So, although I won't do it every time, I will if I have an extra comment to make (as with this last time, if I remember).Β I tend not to acknowledge a deviant if I really don't like the look of some of the other stuff in their collection (wrong kind of deviant!), and I don't want to engage in any kind of dialogue.Β As for your drawing, you'll come back round to it when it's right.Β I have a friend, I've known him for forty years, and he was a very good artist, but sometimes he wouldn't draw for months and months, and then he'd pick it up again like he'd never left off.Β I think he still draws now, but very little.

I'm learning from it a lot myself, and I want to be doing some more pieces like that. The latest work of mine to be added to your favorites is nearly forty years old - when I know work like that is being appreciated by people like yourself, it does inspire me to return to that style, so thank you again.
