but where is one to find camera's like that, ones that still use FILM and better yet...how is one to obtain a darkroom?

There are lots of websites selling film cameras online. Vintage markets sometimes have stalls selling old film cameras and sometimes if you're really lucky you can find shops in different cities that sell old/vintage electricals, cameras included. (:
You don't have to develop your own images, you can always just take them somewhere to be developed- I think that's what most people do. I'm certainly not lucky enough to have my own darkroom. xD
