Thanks ~ however, I'm stuck as a quality management engineer at a manufacturing company in Taiwan.
Basically that means we're paid less than 1500 USD a month and are expected to work more than 80 hours a week.
Once I have enough money saved up and gained some limited financial freedom, I'll go back to this ^__^

Aha! So this is where you went. I had to do a ton of Google searching to find this. I was wondering what happened when all those dapper airships I had favourited disappeared all of a sudden when the old account closed. Sad day.
I must say, though, I'm totally digging the more detailed approach. What this comic has that most steampunk work (in all media) doesn't is taste and believability; a rare gem indeed. Bravo, can't wait for more.

I don't want to sound presumptuous, but might I make a suggestion for the ships, if you haven't considered this already?
Main line vessels should be rather simple and utilitarian. Think corrugated metal, rivets, and plain paint jobs. Since there's always a war going on, they have to be easy to manufacture so you can get more firepower to the front in a decently short amount of time. With special fleets such as royal escorts, venerated battle groups, or outlaws, though, I'd go wild with gothic metal workings, headpieces, and other fine details. Perhaps some of them could even be simple ships that had intricacies added on sometime later

Hey sephy, did you ever get any pre-carpel tunnel syndrome, or something similar during your work time? It seemed you worked really hard, but your hand must have cramped or hurt, right? Do you have any recommendations on exercises or methods to prevent it? I am doing some heavy drawing training to beef up my skills, but my hands are turning numb after an hour or two.

Against numb hands, warm-hot water is the best solution. The numbing is largely due to poor blood circulation. When I get real numb (like all the time), washing the hands in warm-hot water helps to improve circulation. The best thing is not to get cramping at all, and to break your work into time slots.
AKA: stop drawing and rest after 45 min to review what you did. And take a deep breath and drink something.
