Thank you for the link! It was most certainly an interesting read.
I've always found the genetic capability of adaptation to a species' surroundings to be fascinating, and the anatomy of the Nanuqsaurus is a wonderful example. I wouldn't mind keeping one of those as a pet, either. I'm sure he would be a little easier to take care of then his... larger (and likely less well-mannered) cousin. X3

Yes, Avatar is definitely one of my favourite shows. ^^ (I've heard calling it an 'anime' is incorrect due to the fact that it's American and not Japanese, and that the term 'TV show/series' is more suitable, but, to heck with it -- its style and story are so heavily influenced by true anime that I still call it that occasionally. )

Species adaptation and evolution in response to their environment is very fascinating, it's amazing how well-adapted a species can be to the environment in which it lives! And I'm sure it would be easier to keep as a pet than the larger Tyrannosaurus Rex, though as a carnivore I'm sure it would be dangerous to keep as a pet. Of course, this is coming from the person who would love a pet dragon or tiger (if it wasn't illegal or incredibly detrimental to the species, of course; oh and if not for the fact that it could kill me in a fraction of a second...), so I shouldn't be talking
I've heard it's been called an American anime, since Japanese anime was a heavy influence of the creation of the show's art style. But more often than not I've called it a cartoon or TV series over an anime

You also wanted to have a pet dragon and a tiger? I did, as well... Before I knew better. X3 Heck, when I was much younger, I'd imagine having all sorts of dinosaurs as pets, and then run around the backyard pretending to play with them.

Well, I always imagined having loads of different animals as pets, many of them wild animals, so you're certainly not alone! A giraffe was my favorite choice for several years, then dragons took over

XD A giraffe? Well, one advantage, I suppose, is that it would be very hard to lose him in a crowd.
The disadvantage, though... "Hmm, every time I walk my giraffe, he comes back with a sore head! Maybe it has something to do with all those damaged street lights..." XP

I was one of the taller kids until I hit middle school (6th-8th), then I stopped growing and everyone else was shooting upward like weeds Suddenly my guy friends who had been my height were a foot taller than me!
